Scary Kerry!

Arguably, the most popular and most successful delivery/courier company in Thailand, especially metro Bangkok, is Kerry. The delivery trucks are in bright orange with the Name Kerry emblazoned on them. Every truck also carries the company motto, 'Bangkok Same day'. Since I am on the road every day, I meet Kerry trucks constantly. I admit the service is quite good and prompt. However, the driving is rather frightening. Kerry trucks careen down the roads and motorways at excessive speeds, zig zag through traffic to gain every centimetre of advantage and drive as if their tails are on fire. I have found it the better part of valour to simply get out of their way. Oddly, I have yet to personally see a Kerry truck in a traffic accident. They know the roads well and have better understanding of road conditions than ordinary drivers like me; they are professionals. Yet, encountering Kerry trucks is a somewhat fearsome experience. Perhaps God is a bit like that. Some of his moves are simply scary but he is the consumate professional with perfect knowledge of road conditions and gets

us places in the best way. But it may also be a 'scary Kerry' type of experience. Trust the driver and you will be amazed!
