Faith without borders

Normally, faith is defined by (or confined to) our faith traditions. Regardless how much we may convince ourselves that it is about our relationship with God, the truth is that faith is dictated by our religious borders. Unfortunately, this type of faith is myopic at best because we always judge others by it and cannot see beyond it. For faith to truly do its magic, we must learn that it has no borders--no creeds, no statements of belief, no doctrinal positions, no denominational influence. It ought to be simply about our choice of and loyalty to Jesus. If this is so, everyone's faith will be customised by the specificity of their relationship to God and

the will of God for each person. Maybe this is why 'faith' is listed in the Bible as a gift!
