Why not?!

Whenever asked a possibility question, a very good friend of mine would always respond with 'Why not?' Indeed! This is the last day of 2017. Tomorrow will be New Year's day and the start of 2018.

The realists among us will approach the new year as just another step in the ladder of life. The pessimists among us will contend that the new year will be no better than the old one. Everything will be the same or worse. The optimists among us will look forward to the potentials of the new year. Perhaps they will say, 'Why not?'

No one can tell what will happen in 2018, but we are all given a new beginning with all that that entails. Most of us will have to face new challenges or trials. When this happens, ask yourself, 'Why not?' and then turn it into an exclamation 'Why not!' What I am certain about is that God will bless.
